Hi! My name is Michelle, and I am about to start an EngD at TU/e. I wanted to ask you for advice on how to find a studio there. I am a bit concerned about scams, and the university informed me that they don't have any available accommodations. Hi Michel. Congratulations! Yes it is annoying process and takes time. My first advice tell about your situation to the university and ask them to add you to the waiting list. My second advice is come to the Netherlands a bit earlier and search for house here. Because this way you will have an opportunity to go to the place and check if it is scam or not. Also you need to be fast. If a new house published, immediately apply for that. Minutes and seconds matter here. Don't focus on just Eindhoven. Check around area in Noord Brabant like Tilburg, Mierlo, Geldrop, Veghel, etc. The last advice check Roompot in Mierlo. It is for temporary stay maximum 3 weeks but you can get BSN and registered with its address.
