This is a great review Den. It’s a quality product and hence why the fridge is still going as good as it is after 5 years. I never knew they made a plastic or aluminium one and for the money I would have done the same as you. I noticed a massive amount of room being available when I swapped out my ice esky for my fridge and when the kids reach in for there drinks they dunk the meat into the water. Quality product, quality review this should go well mate 🍻🍻

Will do Tone. I purchased the battery from eBay as it was cheaper there than any of the local shops. I think I paid around $350 AusD which is around $250 US dollars. 😃👍

do you have to flick a switch when swapping from 12V to 240V? or just plug and play?

Just plug and play. I usually unplug the 240v and plug in the 12v just before we leave. Great little fridge. Works great on both. Still doesn’t miss a beat. 😃👍
