The advantages of the injection molded cooler are that the cooler is 20% lighter compared to a comparably sized roto-molded cooler and is roughly 30% cheaper. The UL 60 is priced aggressively at $199.
With the weight and price advantages on the side of the new UL60, we questioned the performance. Engel advertises 7 days of ice retention, which we set out to test in this video.
