Engelbert - “ London Palladium” “Farewell Tour”

On September 8, 2024, Engelbert performed his final concert called “The Last Waltz Farewell Tour” at the London Palladium, drawing fans from around the world. I attended the event and hosted a live KZbin feed, where I met a couple married for 35 years who flew in from Spain, a woman from Greece who traveled to London just for the show, and a devoted fan who had tickets for all three concerts-two of which were later canceled due to illness. I also encountered a delightful brother and sister from Germany who adore Engelbert and his music. The show was phenomenal. Engelbert was greeted with continuous applause and standing ovations from fans filled with excitement, joy, nostalgia, and bittersweet emotions over his plans to retire. For an hour and a half, he delivered hit after hit with incredible energy.

Saw his concert in Manchester two days ago. Loved every minute. It was well worth waiting for. I have never been able to go to any concert before due to family commitments.

I’m so glad to hear you saw him. Seems his concert after the London Palladium was canceled due to illness. I wonder if he made his final concert. He had two left.
