Alberto, Clare and Oskar have really been phenomenal additions. If you didn't know about the past of the band, you'd be ecstatic about there actually being a band this incredible out there.

Hard to hear this Big Big Train song and not remember the recent passing of David Longdon. It's a mix of emotions of loss for David and hope of realizing the band's determination to overcome and continue the journey. In any case, the music survives, without any loss, in the voice of the new vocalist. The journey continues to the next station. Let’s go together ✨🚂💕 🇧🇷

Today was mostly grim with the start of my second chemo cycle. Just climbed into bed, opened KZbin on the iPad and spotted this. It’s wonderful, brilliantly performed, engineered and produced. Thanks, Big Big Train, for brightening my day. Again. 😊

Wonderful. Alberto Bravin obviously has a cosmic-scale task on his hands to follow David, but this performance really is crammed full of promise. I'm more excited than I ever thought I'd be. RIP David: you will never be forgotten. Now BBT lives on, and we can all rejoice.

This was initially going to be a difficult listen being loaded onto KZbin so soon after the first anniversary of David Longdon's sad and untimely passing. But the new line-up deserves so much credit for increasing the dynamics of this seasonal song first released five years ago - Alberto Bravin does a sterling performance on vocals while Oskar Holldorf is a very competent and faithful keyboard player and Clare Lindley's slightly distorted violin towards the end is wonderful. Credit too to Dave Foster for a lovely guitar solo. Keep up the excellent work lads and lady
