The best current prog rock orchestra. RIP David! You’ll always be listened to - how lucky you were to be accompanied by such great musicians, who will make you immortal, who will keep you always alive! And they were lucky with you too.

This is a beautiful creation, thank you. Victorian Brickwork is one of my favorite BBT compositions. Thier use of Brass instruments takes songs to another level. Well it seems Prog has a secret not known by many.

Beautiful and emotional. This video should have thousands of views! The Underfall Yard sends chills up my spine. Wish it could be included on a DVD.

O Big Big Train It's my favorite band, but only because I've been listening to Prog for 42 years, and after the great bands of the 70s and the 80s, came BIG BIG TRAIN! It's a lot of quality, good taste and virtuosity together in the same band!

The same with me. Before I discovered them i had been searching for this kind of orchestras for quite a long time. Was too much into it since 1976: VDGG, Yes, Alan Parsons, Genesis, and the others…

When I saw BBT at Birmingham Town Hall with David I thought I’d died and gone to heaven. His passing was a great tragedy.

I found this group yesterday, quite by accident. This is the best prog group I've heard in a long time. As a prog keyboard player from the late 70s, this band has really earned my respect in a very short period of time.

Big Big Train, Transatlantic, IQ, Porcupine Tree, The Flower Kings and to a little bit of lessor extent, Solstice, Spocks Beard, Ayreon, Riverside, Pendragon and Glass Hammer, are keeping Prog very much alive today, on a global scale. There are also many others of course out there, very talented and committed, making great Prog but perhaps not yet recognised on the same scale as those named above. That’s not to mention some of the original Prog artists from the 1960/70’s that are still going, whether periodically or on a more sustained basis, such as Steve Hackett, YES, David Gilmour, Jethro Tull, Peter Gabriel, Jon Anderson, Robert Fripp, Marillion and more! Long May Prog continue.

Yours are true words. I am always in search of newer prog bands that contribute to the genre. I have a few recommendations for you that I think you might like. First, try the Sunchild album called "Message from Afar: the division and illusion of time". This band is from Ukraine from a prolific prog songwriter and in many cases could be considered 'classic prog'. Next, try the band Different Light hailing from Czech Republic, album: Binary Suns (Part 1). Very melodic neo-prog and easily accessible. Those are just two. Feel free to check out my channel where I have saved some vids that I wanted to keep accessible.

The quality of the whole team, including the musicians, the videos & background supporters is incredibly sharp, talented & well done. Davids loss of life & talent was hurtful to say the least. The way they have rebounded from that tragedy speaks volumes of Davids & the whole teams dedication!

Oh Man. I am hearing this music and at the same time I feel like loosing a good friend. This voice, this man , this character, I am so sad to hear about Dave´s dead. I would not say that I really was a big fan of BBT but I was listining from time to time what they´ve released. And especially David gave so much to me. RIP my dear loveley Voice .... Hp from Germany

I'd only heard about BBT and kinda dismissed them without one listen. Big Big Mistake! They're not as rhythmically complex as I'd like but their songs are beautifully crafted and performed with class. This live performance is really good. I'll have to follow them a bit more now. RIP David Longdon. What a beautiful voice he had.

Min 12:02 is the demostration of what BBT and specially David Longdon could reach deeply far beyond our ears and touch our inner soul.......I'm astonished how BBT can deliver a song with a real feeling, not being noisy and pretentious Long Live BBT

69 views and only 7 likes?!?!?! What's wrong with people? what an amazing performance! this album is one of my all-time prog favorites. Just majestic in so many senses (first time I heard it I was high on cannabis and... I'm sure those cookies had something else... and I could see all the colors and the shapes and the waves and man, it was so awesome to hear... I don't endorse the use of drugs or other substances but how amazing it was)

Big Big Train and Neal Morse (with Steven Wilson in third place) are the only people keeping music-in-song-with-instrumentation alive. It is amusing that it is still called 'progressive rock', this music: it should be called 'conservative rock', as a status claim and compliment. I don't think there is any opening of a song as effective as that of Underfall Yard in its sheer organic fusionary power.
