When Port 0 is as input both FETs are open(0) and point is at high impedance=>pull up resistor does not activate When Port 0 is as output for 1 both FETs are open(0) and point is at high impedance => pull up resistor activates. Both are same conditions which means when in input mode it should always input Vcc. There's something wrong.
@swethaabraham43214 жыл бұрын
at 2.53 you say that the external device can write a 1 value to pin at high impedance state.Is that so..shouldn't it be connected to external pull up resistors.
@PriyanshGupta29064 жыл бұрын
External pull-ups are for bringing 0 to 1 , in your case , you're already supplying 1 from an external device , hence no need for a pull-up resistor.

can anyone tell me for using the port 0 of the microcontroller of 89s52 as the out put port we have to use the pull up resistors what should be the value of those resistors

sir I have doubt when port 0 use as output port. When we want to send 0 , the lower FET in ON. At that time the pull up resister get ground so that at mid point we get 5V instead of 0. So i am confuse at that point.

"port 0 as input" u giving 1 at D its ok, but "port 0 as output" u giving 1 at D which acts as input, then how can it act as output??????
