John is the underdog in this matchup. He has experienced more wear and tear on his body, not to mention the long-term chronic shoulder issue he has dealt with over the years. His endurance is also not as good as it was in his younger days. Coming off four consecutive losses has greatly demotivated John. I want John to win, but I think Alexey will take this one... At this point in his career, John can pick whoever he wants to face. He has nothing left to prove. John could lose every match until he's 90, and it wouldn't change his status. Longevity and legacy are what define him as the greatest of all time. The man truly deserves it.

Nice to sense John's fighting spirit! I was so sorry to hear of that snowmobile injury to thumb and wrist. I hope the treatments will help. He may be a quiet unassuming guy, but there is just something inspiring about watching him succeed. Against all odds, lets hope he heals up and wins this one.
