Also Michael is redirecting the pressure out and up with pronation. It’s not just a pure bone lock like most people want to believe. There’s a lot of technique and strength involved in it. King's move is the least enjoyable armwrestling move to watch! King's move is like, "let me take some rest or sleep while you try to pull or break my near-straight arm." That's not armwrestling. It is pathetic for viewers to watch an armwrestler just sitting down in the king's move position waiting for the opponent to get exhausted. Engin should do something about banning this move! I am not against Michael Todd, I am completely against this move. I just fast forward the video to the point where I can see a transition from that position. When an armwrestler is able to completely straighten the opponent arm, he should be declared a winner. This 'let me sleep/rest' move should not be considered Armwrestling because otherwise why don't we just pull or push straight arm to begin with.
@robertgould96412 ай бұрын
You don't understand what is happening, I assume you just not arm wrestle? You can just sit there and rest like you say...if that was true go ahead and let someone try to hyperextend your arm while you are just relaxing with your arm extended...you will immediately stop them because of the pain!!! Any joint being hyperextended will cause pain. He is holding them off through muscular strength...if it was him just relaxing he would win every match, there are plenty of times when he starts to get tired and tries to stand up and gets pinned. But I used to think the exact same as you when I started watching arm wrestling but wasn't an arm wrestler yet so I don't really blame you for thinking that way. Now that I'm an arm wrestler I look at the kings move completely differently...both competitors can do the move so it's fair...but it takes tremendous technique and particular strength, and risk.
