Engine Bay Cleaning

I like the tips about the products used but I am hesitant on a few things. I think I would dilute the degreaser and avoid spraying on the paint. Also I wouldn't want to soak the material cover under the hood. Maybe I'm being too cautious. Enjoyed the video, just the same.

Car dealers use degreaser as well to clean engine bay. I’ve used this particular one on my gutters and it works great. Thanks for the tips. Good video. New sub

It's interesting how so many other people say things like "you HaVe to disconnect your battery" "don't spray the alternator" "don't spray when the engine is hot, cause you'll crack the block" ”dont use a pressure washer on the engine bay" on and on it goes. Then those same people are out fording rivers and streams, going though mud, slinging water and mud into the engine bay or submerged, driving in heavy rain.... All while the engine is running, hot, and "unprotected"

This was my only concern as well. There are probably products out there that are totally paint safe though.
