I wonder how close a 2L or 3L soda bottle would come to fitting the nozzle of that backpack blower? Maybe cut the bottom off, a little gorilla tape, and a hose attached to end🤷♂️ (it may even wind up better/as good as the shop air). 🙂 Love your videos👍

I love this!! So easy, great results! I did this to my 99 Ford the first time this aired (made the "sweet" little attachment for the compressor) People could not believe how "clean" my motor was. When my neighbor complimented my motor I said "thank you." My husband said you didn't have anything to do with it as he thought they cleaned it at the car wash. I told him I cleaned it! I ended up cleaning his motor too as to convince him I did it; looking back I think I got bamboozled into a free cleaning job! lol

Oh, I love this! My Corsa truck is 24 years old and we always cleaned her engine bay every 4 to 6 months and it's a joy to service or work on. One big thing you did not say is, clean the underside of that hood and put some car polish on the paint work and shine it up, it realy finishes off a clean engine bay. My car enjoys Sweet Project Cars almost as much as I do... 🖒

I've been using ArmorAll Tire Foam like this for a couple of years and it is amazing. Yeah, if you have leaves or grit blow them off first, but I've found that's all I need to do. It isn't necessary to blow off the excess, just close the hood and it will dry on its own. I just did my car and truck last week and couldn't be happier.

I live in Nevada and it gets really dusty. Is this cleaner still “wet” after using a wipe/air wet after application? I’d like to try this if it stays dry, otherwise I think it would attract a lot of dust in the engine bay. With low humidity, dust tends to collect unlike where you are with higher humidity and GREENERY (I miss having a green yard similar to yours at my old house 😕). Keep up the great content!! 👍🏻

Hey Billy a smart consumer will start pulling out smart plugs air filters possibly lifting up the car to see how rusted the parts are underneath what has been replaced what hasn't.

That does look simple and and very clean. Thanks. I'm half afraid of using water under the hood with my 2023 Ram and that e-torque stuff. Expensive electronic junk.

I did this and uploaded the video a few years ago when you guys first did this video. i find it can sometimes be the opposite when it comes to clean engine bays in used car. when im buying a used car and the engine bay is squeaky clean i automatically think they cleaned it spotless trying to cover something up..
@SweetProjectCars Жыл бұрын
Well I look at that the same as I do buying anything, I would much rather buy something clean than filthy dirty. I can contest to this after working on and buying hundreds of vehicles, 99.9% of the ones that were clean we had virtually no issues with. We found that people who care about something that they own do regular maintenance and cleaning on. Why? Because they care about it. That's the same with people that own homes, you can always drive by someone's house that's clean and neat and know that it's been well taken care of. Thanks for watching, have a great day. mad Mike

My 4.6L has a lot of exposed electrical connections. Coil packs, sensors, etc. Not like old days on 66 Mustang. Cover the carb and distributor and spray away. Would this product harm it? What is the product you are using. Thanks from a neighbor in LA. (Lower Alabama)

If you have plastic covers around each wheel, this will make them look brand new if you do the macro cleaning first. Like mud, rocks, etc.

So there is no need to worry where the spray goes such as battery connections or anything electrical? If I miss any area in blowing it away or wiping it clean, will it be safe on those surfaces? This looks to be the best and easiest thing to use! Thank you for the info.

Well as a would be buyer I would immediately see your beautifully maintained property, the way you are dressed, your manners and your articulation. That alone tells me "this guy takes great pride of ownership" and right away I know that also applied to his car. When I was working and people applied for a job opening I would always make sure I inspected the car they drove.... not how new it was but was it maintained. Was it neat and clean inside and out or were there empty beer cans and McDonald wrappers on the floor and was the car MIA from a wash for a month. To me, no pride of ownership = no pride of workmanship on the job.

Is it alternator safe?? Is there a chance the drive belt will squeak after?? Looks really good at the end results
@bigm383 Жыл бұрын
Tyre foam contains much less water than the alternator is exposed to when driving in the rain. Plus you will blow it all out with the compressed air. It’s designed to improve or recondition the surface of tyres so seems to benefit any rubber belts, hoses, etc.
