This Audi A5 has its first engine bay detail in 10 years it looks like its never been cleaned !

Great job! But i do have a question. Why not remove the engine cover and clean the grease and oil on the top on the engine? I understand the customer may not see it. But the mechanic may appreciate it. Or even the customer if they maintain their car.

Absolutely not Richard because of the high voltage battery and the orange wires yoy can not clean like this, you could die from electric shock

@@richardchipchase7260 you can how over use somthing like absolute rinse less in a towel and wipe components and use a damp brush but just be cautious of the orange high voltage lines you will see what ones they are you can't miss them

Not always nooo, most modern cars are very safe and use low pressure jet wash, if any ecu or things like that maybe cover them but this one was fine

No buddy as long as you use some common sense and protect things like ecu etc you be fine

I take my engine out and deep clean it every year, Ultrasonic cleaner then pop back in, I even have a quick release system on my motor. I'm joking of course, the engine came up 👍
