First train is going by the VFW headed out of North Little Rock towards Van Buren .

Yep! Headed towards the VB-Sub Northwest, used to you'd see MoPac unit trains flying down McArthur, and towards Pine Bluff that train station once held stops there!

My old Missouri Pacific Rail Road , I hired out 10-18-1971 as a Work Equipment Mechanic Helper in the Union Station building . A lot of great memories working for Mopac and then UPRR took over , duhhhhhhhhhhh .

Oh yeah! MoPac was a beautiful railroad, especially the horns and the paint! Sad to see it go in the late 80s... Funny how half of its' fleet didn't even half dynamic brakes, it's how you can identify former MoPacs these days, it's cool!

Second train is about to go over the Baring Cross Bridge into North Little Rock yards . They'll pass Jenks Over haul shop on the left . Our old rail welding plant will be to their right side .

You would be correct! They'll pass Jenks on #1 and head south towards Missouri!

844 was in NLR a day early some years back , parked in it's track by the old welding plant . No one around and I got a picture of my granddaughter standing in front of the headlight . Awesome picture . Two days later I got a Blue Screen on my computer and I lost almost 2000 pictures , broke my heart . Lost her picture . Bummer .
