I can record my stems from Serato and load them on Engine for free. Please correct me if I'm wrong

Well Serato has monetized many of its features for a long time now. So you probably paid for that feature. You could record TV tracks using Serato however they would be set. You wouldn’t be able to choose which stem you want on the fly, or switch up the stems.

I’m disappointed with Denon. That’s not standalone stems. You still need a computer to get the stems. Standalone stems on the fly would be so 🔥. Then make a Prime 4 with moving platters next. Denon, I think you are showing up to the party too late.

Not the same. You would have an instrumental, and an acapella, on a 2 deck, now how do you load another track to mix into + the fact you will be busy time aligning those separate instrumental and vocal tracks.

@@djciscov1 You have to analyze (or should) the tracks on a PC first anyway. This is just another analyzation, like bpm detection. Once analyzed the stems are on the fly, and pretty good quality too. On the fly stems in VDJ, Rekordbox, Serato and Algoriddim, can sometimes sound different. If the computers resources are getting used by other software, it can cause a delay in real time stems, or make them not as good as expected. Pre analyzed will sound the same each and every time.

Should of just gave us the real time on the fly..That's what should happen😊

Don’t know if the older decks could handle the processing for a good stem result. The Prime 4 Plus and the Prime Go plus maybe.

@@PhearNone7 the processing in the newer gear can not do a quality separation either unfortunately. They would have to go to the new snapdragon X or an Apple M or Apple A15x or higher.
