Why have i never thought to bounce the whole track to save CPU while doing more overdubs? So simple and obvious! Thanks for this video!

It helps so much!!

A little suggestion: don’t replace your midi with audio, instead create new audio tracks, then turn off and hide your midi tracks. In this way your project will look cleaner, lighter and if you need to modify some midi notes (you never really know when), you have them hidden and easily restorable.

Yeah that’s a great idea!

Question, Why would you have Ozone on the Stereo Out instead of on the Master? Thanks for the tutorial! Gianni❤
@FransJCMartinsКүн бұрын
Unless you assign a unique separate “master bus” where you send all your channels to, before sending to stereo out, the stereo out is also the master bus… Instead of this, some folks send all instruments to a instrument bus, vocals to a vocal buss and then feed these off to the stereo bus…

My way is to build a drum bus, a vocal bus and an instrument bus. These busses leading to a ALL IN bus. The ALL IN is placed before the Stereo Out. The reason is simple. If you use a reference song in your session you can switch between All IN and the Stereo Out without struggling with plugins. All my pre mastering plugins running on ALL IN.

@@raybeeger1529Great idea! Thanks.

Everyone beat me to it. Basically by default, the “stereo out” is the last stop before leaving your computer, unless you change things up and do some more complicated routing, totally up to you.

A new Mini M4 fixed my latency and CPU problems.

Haha yeah that’ll do it. I know it’s not always an option for people though. Also I just got one so I’m curious how much of an improvement I’ll see from my 2019 intel i9

12:43 Ahhhh, that Ozone is notorius for having heavy impact on latency! It's pretty weird since I use Neutron AI thingy on every tracks to have an idea what it would sound like and it's not even lagging. Just turning off the plugin in the master doesn't improve latency.

Yeah Ozone is the worst for that. Really interesting you’re not getting any latency from neutron
