Nice job, a lot better than an engine sitting on two old tiers.

KZbin won't push my videos for some reason. Might be because I don't put ads during the video. Only in the beginning and end.

Great engine stand! .. got to build one myself .. What I would do is add some expanded metal as a radiator grill ... to add as protections ... Just my two cents worth ..

Great job. Do you have any plans for this stand so I can replicate it for my engine over here in Australia? Thanks 👍🇦🇺

Now that you’ve had some time/experience with the Blueprint 396 & 400, do you have a preference and/or see a difference in power? Thx
@mossman381
@mossman381 Жыл бұрын
It's hard to compare the two in totally different vehicles. The 396 in the Camaro is way faster and feels way more powerful. It's a lot lighter than the truck and it has a manual trans. The 400 in the truck has an auto trans with a higher stall. It goes if you push the go pedal hard enough. Still not sure that B&M trans is working to its full potential. I think they are pretty even power wise. On the dyno my 400 made more torque.

Thanks! I’m trying to decide and talked with blue print today to clarify a few things I had questions about. The person I spoke with said that it’s a 4-5 month wait on the 400 turn key and 45-90 days on a dressed long block 396. Trying to make a decision between these 2 and I’m looking at one other motor from another company. Nerve racking 😂😂

Who makes the motor mounts or where did you buy ? Thanks PS; How high is the centerline of the crank above the main two inch rail ?
@mossman381

I have everything linked in the description. It looks to be about 15" to crank centerline.

@@mossman381 Wow, I wouldn't think someone from Wisconsin would be so thin skinned. Dude, I was correcting the word, not being critical of your accent. Sorry if that offended you.

I am not offended. I just don't want to be corrected for little nothings. I just didn't emphasize the k. I can say the work however I want just as long as people understand what I am talking about. You obviously knew what I was talking about so why leave a comment?? Judging by the oil priming comment you are a know it all. That is why the comment was left.

@@mossman381 So knowing a better way to do something and sharing that makes me a know it all. Wow, that is really cool. Fact is I was shown this way over 30 years ago and found it worked MUCH better. Sorry for sharing my deep wealth of knowledge with you and the internet. Dude, I have to say, you are in the WRONG place to not want to be corrected. I don't know how you can exist on the internet with such think skin.

@@petermoto409 There you go again. You "corrected" me. Because you know it all right. And your "deep wealth of knowledge". You are a classic know it all. You can prime an engine just fine the way I did it. If you really want to help people with all your knowledge, why aren't you making videos???
