Coming the end where it wouldn’t start I’ll tell you exactly what the problem was as I’ve been there scratching my head, basically Subarus if you keep turning them over after certain amount of time the fuel puddles in the bores and soaks the spark plugs, when davo turned the fuel injectors off it burnt the unused fuel and dried up the spark plugs hence when he put the injectors back on it started, it’s happened to me tonnes of times and gets me everytime! I thought I’d share just incase on the off chance you see this comment and it helps you in the future. You can also disconnect the cam and crank sensor and take the plugs out and push the fuel out that way. Have a good Christmas lads

I’ve just been getting bored quickly lately and so after a few minutes I’d go find something else to watch. But I realized today after watching this episode that the problem is my reduced attention span from all the social media videos I consume. Love the Subaru content, way back in my high school days, much time was spent reading Sport Compact Car magazine and playing the original Gran Turismo so naturally I drooled over the GC8’s, problem was we didn’t get the WRX over here in the US, hottest version was the 2.5 RS with 165 hp, non turbo. I still wanted one in World Rally blue. Going back to Sport Compact Car magazine, they built their own WRX and they had it at the Los Angeles auto show where I nuked a roll of film (again I’m old) just on that car much to my dads confusion. I didn’t care, I thought that car was awesome especially being 16 years old. Fast forward to now, I wanted a fun but still practical car for me and my dealership had a ‘18 WRX performance pack come in on trade with only 41k on it, it had stupid basket handle roof racks that promptly went in the bin after I bought it but even better it had the heated Recaros, all the nanny stuff deleted, special brake pads with red calipers, sunroof delete and a proper 6 speed manual. It may not be as cool as a JDM GC8 STI and yes I’m sure the FA20DIT will do its impression of Chernobyl’s reactor #4 some day but I don’t care, it takes me back to 16 year old me and simpler times. Keep up the good work and keep that horizontally opposed content coming!

Contest idea: take someone's nuggety "dream car" and start all the way from the beginning; source it, bring it into the garage and help (and pay) for the resto/upgrades. All within reason - not Ferraris or Lambos but like Subarus, Nissans or even a Pajero and have that be a contest.
