About Junkyard Truck:
Junkyard Truck is an open-world off road driving, mechanic simulator, and job simulator. Start by buying an old truck from the junkyard. You'll need to replace some worn out or missing parts, and then put it back together and hope you did a thorough job. Once you get it running, you can use your truck to complete off road missions and jobs to earn some money. When the missions get too tough, visit the auto parts store to buy better engine parts, wheels, drivetrain parts, or accessories- or you might have to scavenge the junkyard if you're low on funds. Jobs and missions pay well, but you'll need to use that money to maintain your truck. When you think your truck is powerful enough, and you have enough bankroll for major repairs, use your truck to complete some of the map's challenges, such as races, rock crawls, hill climbs, and very destructive long jumps.

@@coreygravely6 Right? When he flipped the engine over and all the rod bolts were loose... Not gonna lie, I was triggered a bit. "You have tighten them! All of them!!!!" Wonder how many head bolts were actually tightened? And he definitely didn't work his way out from the middle.

I'm an actual mechanic too. When drea said "I could be a mechanic" my response: OH GOD NO! Putting on a belt without a pulley in place, yeah dude I don't know why it's overheating too. It certainly isn't missing a crucial driven pulley or anything so the fan and pump are working just fine. Slap a bunch of parts together, bolts are optional. Just hopes and prayers will make it run.🙄

You're quite the mechanic. I'll post an update this week with a new v8-specific transmission and a twin turbo kit. But it looks like the V8 became too OP when combined with the recent traction update. I'll address those bugs you found too, but I have no idea how you did the creeper thing. If you ever want a tag on the warehouse just let me know.

Hey Drae, so the problem you're having with your engine overheating is because you never put the engine cooling fan back on the engine when you were upgrading the 4 cylinder. It goes in the front on the main pully. But I guess it doesn't matter anymore now that you have a new engine.

Drae, grab a bucket, look straight down and place it. Just trust me. Also head behind the junkyard, there's a few trails back there and also a hill climb race.

Whether you like to admit it or not, going back to the Car Mechanic Simulator, you have an intuitive sense of what an engine needs to make it work - better than a lot of folks I know. I also give credit to the developers for being *fairly* accurate with the engine's assembly and making it fairly easy to install the needed parts. You would be amazed at the number of people that don't know the difference between a cam shaft and crank shaft much less recognize them side-by-side. On the other hand, mistaking the air filter for an "oil thingy" is something my x-wife would do, =D

The second race gave him the keys to the v8. The three race post to give you the v8 transmission which is not in the game yet.

@@canadianwithabeard because his videos. He got the v8 engine right after the second race. On top of the that the v8 transmission is not in the game yet. It has been confirmed by his videos. So how are you going to get the V8 transmission? The only one way the third race. Another wise the third race is worthless. So if you say his videos are wrong. Then need to watch the last video. Even people say you don't have to do the third race to get the v8. So third race has to be use for the v8 transmission which is not in the game yet.

The v8 transmission which is not in the game yet well be unlock with one of these races. I know about the bug that it alway unlock making the races worthless. it just a bug that it. it well be patch out soon. So like everyone keep saying you need to do at less the third race to unlock every thing for the v8 engine and the devs say the same thing. I well still use the bug but after they patch you need to know how to get it. understand why i said it.

@@PazuzuDeamon4horsemen I have been in the game since before it was released to EA. I talk to the developer all the time. I am aware of what the game is and how its played. Right now as the game sits the v8 block is open and free for EVERYONE to get. Later on the intention is to have the container locked and able to be opened through some challenges. Go play the game.. seriously. Play it. Launch a new game. Go to the container.. You can open it immediately and get the v8 block. It is NOT locked at this time and the developer will tell you the exact same thing. 🤦‍♂

Always buy new oil filter and oil when swapping to V8. Empty before swap, and refill oil with a new filter on :)

The reason transmission looks so weird from underneath is because you are trying to connect a manual transmission to a torque converter. Torque converters are for automatics. Manuals use flywheels and clutches.

The large gaps in knowledge are the best thing about this series. It would be boring if you already knew everything, I already watch real life vehicle restoration for that. I don’t know if anything will top him saying a couple episodes ago something like “ah we don’t have any oil in the engine but im sure it’ll be fine” and proceeded to start the engine, though.

Your engine overheated because you didn't have one of the gear wheels installed on the belt. Pause at 3:53. The negative money might have come from the poker match where you went for a negative amount. Some bad oversights on how this game code handles that sort of things.
