I hope the individual maps also counts for single player save data uploading it to the ps+ cloud instead of just being one single solid save data. It makes it hard for single player players to sort out save data if something goes wrong but still want to keep all there tames ETC. So

Those are awesome news ! I was pretty sure they would jump to 5.5 when they pushed back that 5.4 upgrade, it made alot of sense especially with 5.4 having alot of issues I read about on the Unreal forums.

With UE 5.5 update. The Dev kit needs some TLC. Some plugins that are normally enabled on Unreal engine vs the dev kit like Chaos Cloth will hopefully get unlocked to help modders with things like capes, flags, & other decorative items would cut down on time for our work flow . So fingers crossed 🤞

Turn off the auto download on mods. My Internet is 1gb and I was rubber banging so bad. Turned it off and its stopped but you won't see cosmetic mods you don't have already downloaded

They was supposed to upgade to UE5.4 but pushed it back and finally decided to jump directly to 5.5 which is a great idea since 5.4 had alot of issues and 5.5 comes with nice stuff.

I haven't been able to play online at all because I keep getting kicked from servers with battleye or I just can't maintain a connection for whatever reason. If they can fix that, I'll be happy. So far, Extinction has been a pretty stable experience on single player, despite some lag when things get a little crazy. Hopefully playing on a stronger, newer pc next month will solve most of my performance issues.

They literally already have a “nest” mesh asset from the Gigantoraptor. All they have to do is scale it to size and add a different shader to it. They are so mf lazy its ridiculous sometimes. They weren’t too lazy to make nests for the teasers. 🤷🏻‍♂️ 💀

Being able to uninstall maps is going to be decent for some people. I have a server which includes basically all the maps in a cluster, so... Yeah. If I could uninstall The Island I would, but they specifically called that out as a base game map. Oh well. But, having the maps be DLC means they won't be in the base install anymore, and potentially that means that update sizes will come down. Looking forward to the UE 5.5 update, if it ever gets here.

Noone has to tame in ark assended you know that right you create two ring trap one holding a lv 150 breeder male and outer ring lv 150 and lv 140 wild females with the wild male makes perfect 150 babies and if you trank a baby and ko it you can feed it like normal taming and it grows big

u think honestly that Extinction was a massive improvement compared to the other maps? i'd have to respectfully disagree from what i've seen so far on my xbox after messing with mods disableing and enableing again and finally able to go on the map only to find sound breaking when combat happens atleast now ik its a mod issue causeing the game to break when the game updates and there is probably other issues i wouldn't be surprised but i am gonna be looking forward to that unreal engine upgrade the game does indeed need it along with hopefully the sky becomeing better like it was in Ase,Ase's sky quality was overall good along with its lighting

I would’ve never expected them to fully work with Mappa. They are a pretty big deal when it comes to anime/animation. They’ve worked on lots of high profile anime series. The scenes should be very high quality animation judging by their past works. I also really hope that they introduce some new gameplay altering/defining features in The Lost Colony on par with the likes of Aberration’s charge mechanic, Extinction’s OSDs/Veins, or Genesis 1/2’s mission system. I’m definitely in the minority here, but I also hope that they are “no flyer” maps akin to Aberration and Genesis 1.

Honestly i feel wild babies are on the list of reasons ASA is inferior. They make the game way to easy, they take up spawns for creatures, and taming is usually not worth the trouble because you can't get bonus levels
