In India, engineering as a career has attracted a lot of students in a big way and a large number of aspirants taking engineering exams are a testimony to this fact. The youth in India dream of themselves as engineers earning a decent package.
Every year, lakhs of students appear in the entrance examination for institutions like the IIT but only a few of them manage to clear the exam. Those students who are unable to fulfil their dream of becoming an IITian - either they start preparing for the second time or they knock on the doors of the private colleges. But after dedicating crucial time from their lives, do they really become skilled engineers or are their engineering skills limited to their certificates?
This is the story of an Engineer who is left unemployed after completion of his Engineering. He approaches many companies for jobs but all rejected him for several reasons. One of the prime reason was the lack of employability skills.

Akruti Saha it is student! We didn’t got data specifically for engineers! But We guess this story is same for every fresh graduate as he is facing the skill related issues which the particular industry requires. The industry doesn’t want to waste their time in training fresher for desired skills. The colleges need to take responsibility what is the demand of the industry and train student respectively.

I got my mech engg degree from average college as my father wanted me to be an engg.To respect his words i completed my engg with silver medal 87.44 marks in 2010 but college provided no campus placement facilities.then i started preparing 4 govt sector jobs like psu, banking ,ssc ,railways...after a long struggle my pending result got cleared and i am undergoing training in railways ....but after my job i lost my mother but she was satisfied that i got settled in govt job..But it will always hurt me that i can't do anything 4 her.😪😪

I finished civil engineering 2 years back both btech and mtecb and I love that from my heart while I was studying I never thought of getting a job my whole family insist of getting a job but as I completed I start my own project and start selling to people... I have employed few people in the way ... Moral of the story .... If you have completed some professional degree it is just your profession the rest is to make money you have to figure that out .. life is a jungle you have to be a monkey not a cry baby ... Every topics of engineering gives you 1lakh of salary per month if you perform properly 😉
