*FULL REVIEW:
Engineer does an amazing job throughout the entire game, early to late. It may be very expensive but it is useful at all levels. It is stronger than accel but has a lower placement limit, making it just a little stronger, but its more useful through earlier waves due to its insane cost efficiency and no charge up. Not having hidden detection on the sentries isn't too bad since the engineer itself does plenty of damage. My rating for engineer is 8/10. With 4 max turrets and max engineer, it should do a little over 254 dps, assuming that they are all targeting one target. This means that all 6 have a dps of 2727, a 200 more than what 8 max accelerators at max dps (according to the wiki), which is 2586.24 . Also, accelerator has targeting windup and can't hit flying enemies, but sentries get destroyed by boss stuns.

Each sentry has 101 designed so 4x6 is 24, 101x24 2,640 dps, including the decimals, and the Engineer itself has 49.25 dps, 50x6 is 300, 2,640 + 300 is 2,940, unless somewhere my math went wrong.

I won Molten with two snipers to start (new duck skin) then placed engineers and won with the 6 engineers, dj, coa and the two snipers all at max level. It was a breeze. I had grinded for gems for weeks got up to 5k in gems. I'm so glad I was able to get the new tower then play the event. Won event first try with random players.

I've done some testing by seeing how fast they kill different bosses by making the first 39 (29 for normal) rounds just have a teamate carrying then the teamate sells everything and I put all the mixed out version of each of the two towers( accelerator and engineer). By doing this I figured out that without any support units the two are pretty evenly matched with just a 3000 health lead by accelerator. If you added support since sentries don't get buffed by commander accelerator ended up killing the boss while engineer was alright close but when I started microing it the engineer took a bit to return to his state before as such losing any chance of evenness and in the end accelerator won by 30 thousand health which is substantial. So in the end engineer is still good but accelerator still does more damage but if we were just comparing the towers side by side they are pretty even but in actual play because engineer sentry cant detect hidden and its not as rapid gun and because of support towers in actual play I would say accelerator is still the best tower UPDATE: engi is better than Accel now I will go and put in the numbers tommorow but rn I don't have time

Why can accelerator solo fallen king but engineer cant? To be honest I think the accelerator is stronger because of one reason, the engineers sentries die to literally ONE STUN. My personal rating for this tower would be an 8.5/10, just because of how expensive it is in the shop like you need to grind for like 2 days nonstop and for the tower itself it's not that bad but a bit expensive in upgrades also engie is pretty reliant on the sentry because that's where most of her dps comes from plus sentry just gets destroyed when any type of major boss does a stomp attack and that can greatly affect engie's dps. Engie good, but I say accel superior Edit: Engie's turret's now have Shield(unless the tower itself is stunned), my rating for this is now 9/10 Edit again: forgot to mention that Engineer got a heavy nerf with the removal of one turret on her max level, and her ridiculous gem price hasn't changed, so I will rate Engineer a 7/10

I really like the engineer but I think it should have been an event tower, since it costs gems I'm pretty sure it's not a limited tower, which makes it too easy for some people. Plus since it's not an event tower the event will have less reason to be played. the sentries still get's destroyed by the fallen king and it takes a suprising amount of time to just kill the molten boss and the fallen king is two times stronger than the molten boss so you need the best rng and the best map to even getting close to win fallen .

@@fallenking3417 yes but if you are playing on a long map (like marshlands) you would have enough money to sell the engineers and place them back therefore killing the fallen king and granting the cool win (btw you'll most likely die to shadow bosses before that unless you put more money into engineers, i died to that)

Accel better ig bc cheaper and already have pretty good dps higher than 200dps engineer is good but tower is so expensive and bosses can easily kill turrets just think boomers i guees accel better

the enginner red and yellow range probably means it has lower damage in yellow and no damage on the red because i have seen some tower defense games do that for some towers

Accelerator would be even less good if the tower limit was the same as accelerator, Honestly i would say that accel is not better than engineer, Honestly they did a good job on balancing the tower since engineer has ALOT more cost than accelerator, they made it good, and i think its the best tower for April 2022. Even tho i dont have the tower, i think its good through if you use it properly. If you use it badly, its likeley not that good, so its too balanced, and i think thats the first part i like about "Tower Defense Simulator". I mean, this is the first or second time they tried to make the game balance properly, literally, anyone else agree? I mean i am an og myself, but i quit since the game was boring at the first seconds i joined the 2nd time. Thanks to elite i know og stuff now.

Red range is dead zone which means that the tower cannot attack at that point of range and the yellow range is that sentry and blue is the normal tower range

fun fact: engineer can do 400 dps with its sentrys and its regular damage combined, so 6 engineers can probably do 2400 damage. With dj is alot cheaper and has more range which makes it BETTER.
