See the above comments. Took about 1/2 and hour to do the paperwork and pay the GST. Still need to do the out of country inspection at Canadian Tire, but doesn’t look like it will be too hard to get done.

Is Maynard and the team considering "real time" camera access like Tesla has from anywhere in the world for security and one interior camera so we can check on our pets while we are away on our cell phones? If so, please also include a motion activated memory stick that will also record short clips of all activities around trailer while owner was away... Truly Game Changing and will be a MUST HAVE for pet owners!

A secondary heater was placed in the Pause to heat the underside and water bays of the RV. Though now you can buy any of the Pause units and I think they either come 4 season ready or you can add as an option.

This was unexpected! The gentleman said he was from Red Deer, Alberta. I reside here as well. I've been considering either a Roamer 1 or a Pause 20.3 myself. Could you tell me your experience getting it across the border? What is required for the import? Is the process difficult?

Ken what type of truck are you towing with?

Towing with F-350. I will make one more mod to the truck and trailer and that would be to have some sway bars added. Hit some 60 mile an hour cross winds coming home and had to keep the rug at 80 km/h.

Ken, Is it a hassle to bring your rig into Canada, paper work for registration?

Very simple to get it into Canada. It took about 1/2 hour to get the paperwork done. JYou’ll have to pay GST on the trailer at the boarder. Then you’ll need paperwork from there to go to Canadian Tire and have the out of country inspection.

Just to add one more point, call the customs at the port you’re crossing at… in Alberta there is no provincial sales taxes, so they may charge that on the import as well.

Yes, ROA got me a 45 day temporary Utah license for the Pause which I used to get the RV all the way home and to my appointment for inspection.

Ok, just got the out of country inspection completed at Canadian Tire, 15 minutes and $20 later all set. Very simple to import a RV into Canada.
