Irrespective of what views engineer sahib holds about Iqbal, my disappointment is on his soft presentation of socialist ideas. Iqbal was a public figure and not above criticism. But it takes people like me months to explain that Socialism/Communism is not compatible with Islam. Engineer sahib's soft comments about them contaminate the uninitiated minds. That he must stop! Lastly, I would again request to keep the disagreement within the bounds of decency.

Engineer’s understanding of philosophy, poetry in general and Iqbal in particular is so superficial and flawed he should just stop embarrassing himself at this point now. True about Engineer. But Rumi and other mystics' idiocies and deviant beliefs can't really be justified with "allegories" all the time. Especially when they purposefully used unislamic phenomena in their liguistic devices. Not to mention that the fundamental ideas and concepts behind those allegorical stories were actually worse than the subject matter used in their poetry.

The problem with Engineer Muhammad Ali Mirza is that he pass judgement and interfere on fields outside of his own...His field is Sectarianism and he is good at it which benefits Muslims but he is causing issue interfering in the field of Political Sciences and Philosophy by passing irresponsible and problematic judgement. He should realise he hasn't undergone formal training in this field to develope enough understanding and critical thinking ability to pass judgement on Islamic basis!

When i say sectarianism what i mean by that is the literatures published by different leaders of the different sects in which he has good grip on and based upon the basic understanding of Quran & ahadith he critique those literatures which are not correct Islamically..I am in no way claiming he is a scholar of Islam and has expertise in the field of Theology...He has good understanding of Aqeedah but in no way comprehensive scholar of Islam!

Salam Qaisar bhai ... yar you are doing a great job masha Allah. i'd say 95% of our public are not fully aware of these "isms" that you're intellectually refuting, hence, i'd suggest if you can start a youtube series on these "isms" i.e. introduction of these ideologies for "dummies". This can go in parallel with the debates that you're having but i think educational content will be more useful and impactful for the general public to be able to fully get the context of your debates and ability to connect the dots. bro we still have some sects with wrong belief like Twelver Shias, Aga Khanis, Ibadis and etc we should try to refute these false sects instaed of uniting with them Allah said in the Quran that if we differ then we should refer to Him (Allah is genderless btw) and His Messenger SAW. All those people commenting on his posts and admiring him. I want to clear one thing. I’ve seen all that podcast and the later review video Mr. Qaiser did to show his disagreements for Engineer Mirza Ali. The thing is, He’s just defaming him for the sake of his disappointments and disagreements. Our Islam also not teaches us to stick to just one point and create a fuss over it. In the podcast, Sir Qaiser said that he had just some disagreements while in majority of his POVs align with him (Eng Ali). So, in the behalf of some points, he’s starting a controversies. What else he doing rather than making the argument longer? In my opinion, everyone has right to hold disagreements and their opinions to themselves and not to make a conflict just for it. And as per the Title of the video suggests, its all about the socialism and Allama Iqbal. I don’t think that’s a more valuable topic in which his perception should be align with yours. Because our Islam has no relation with Iqbal’s perspective. Yes, he’s a great philosopher. We should just take him as that rank not more than that. So please, Its better to just keep this issue within you and him (privately) and not make us think that you’re doing this for popularity or something else. I respect your opinions too, I’m not a supporter of Ali Mirza but as per a Human and Muslim, I don’t appreciate this way of making videos on someone with whom you have contradictions. Thanks!

Regarding the other point, although EMAM categorically said k that he has his own way of defining secularism & has just borrowed the term BUT he still shouldn’t have used the term i agree.
