Please help I have problem: No convergence of nonlinear problem. Case number:3

Great video, one doubt. Why not using a fixed support for the base? So you can have the moment to design the footing
@EngineerHunter Жыл бұрын
It depends on your decision base on the structure. Normally, the pinned base is easier to build and more economic.

Hi, thanks to giving this perfect guide. I have a problem that is I can’t see like this 22:41.... When i click the “load case code”, There are “STR” in ULS tab, “CHR” “FRE” “QPR” in SLS tab, “accidental” “seismic” in ACC tab, and last thing is “fire”. How can i see like you did??
@EngineerHunter2 жыл бұрын
You can check the code for load combination in Job Preference. I think you probably choose Eurocode.
@이채린-b5z2 жыл бұрын
@@EngineerHunter Thanks,,,i figure out it but can you explain what those are? I am a starter of modeling so i want to know what those loads( No.6 to 26) mean?
@EngineerHunter2 жыл бұрын
@@이채린-b5z Those are load combinations from ASCE 7-16 code following LRFD load combination. Those loads are for strength design.

I really like the tutorial that is giving a lot of good information. It was a problem for me that it is not possible to follow the mouse pointer (Should be highlighted). This resulted in a lot of rewinding to see where the pointer is going.

This was a mistake during making a video. We improves the videos. We planned to have a new video for this topic as well. Please keep checking our channel.

Thanks this excellent tutorials. Please how do we determine the space of bracings And when do we use the bracing in the direction of the length of steel wharehouse Commentaires
@EngineerHunter2 жыл бұрын
We use bracings so that the frame can resist lateral load. You can check the analysis result like deformation. You can check MBMA guide as well.

hello sir how did you turn off the cladding?

Firs of all thanks for this amazing tutorials!! I'm having a problem with a arched roof greenhouse. I have used claddings to put some loads on the roof, but even with the loads, there is none load distribution region on the roof. Everything else is fine, but no load that I'm using shows results (wind, snow, anything). Do you have any ideia of what can be wrong?
@EngineerHunter2 жыл бұрын
You need to divide arc frame to smaller sections (arc line to straight line). Then, you can draw claddings following each segments of frame.
@alexandrerocha46542 жыл бұрын
@@EngineerHunter I did the arc frame just like that, choose the number of segments, first, second and last points, and draw the arc in segments of straight lines. And the cladding following this segments. Actually I have more than one greenhouse and in none of then the applied load is shown in the results, or in the load distribution region.
@alexandrerocha46542 жыл бұрын
@@EngineerHunter I got it working now. I need to do one cladding for each segment of frame, keeping the cladding in just one plane, right? Anyway, its working fine now! Thank you!!

hi bro, thanks for posting. i see you didn't take cable into account for design. in your design, did you take Purlin into account for designing the structure here?

No.

Hello thanks for the tutorials...my reactions are displaying two values for example FZ 2.5/24.1......what is the meaning of this? which settings should i change?
@EngineerHunter3 жыл бұрын
You can check the load selection bar. Normally, if you see that type of value, it means that is the envelope value of the reaction or maximum/minimum value.
@douglassinkololwe39823 жыл бұрын
@@EngineerHunter Thanks.. Was actually viewing using envelope.

Hi. I'm getting an error message saying "excessive releases". can you please advise?
@EngineerHunter2 жыл бұрын
You need to check your release points. If you release too much, your structure will become unstable. You can start by not release anything, then start releasing some members to investigate if there’s any errors.

How can I be able to determine the forces and moments along the length of the member?
