Much like a supercar, you cannot simply watch this video to enjoy it; you have to *experience* it to enjoy it. Which is why I put the video at 1080p in fullscreen with over-ear headphones at full volume while watching in a dark room. Then I watched the video twice: first with my eyes closed to experience the sound of it, then with my eyes open to experience the visuals. And let me tell you, my experience blew me away. If the new NSX is anything like my experience here, it'll certainly be the best car of the decade.

all you hybrid haters out there need to realize the first nsx was an automotive hallmark noticed by every manufacturer in the industry - first vtec (but not first variable valve timed vehicle), first all aluminum monocoque chassis production car, and it was a serious threat to exotics because it was up there for a fraction of the price. hondas making a bold move here again in trying to develop a true hybrid supercar that will topple some of the big dogs. now the question is can they. theres also something very cool about 4 motor electric drive systems that conventional drivetrain cars cant do (axles and such), and that is that each motor can be programmed individually. i dont think teslas even have this. Rimac basically pioneered this and i dont think any other company has done it (legally?). if the motors are programmed to the extreme, a 4 motor drive system will have superior handling because things wont be limited or "stuck" together because there are NO axles and driveshafts. each wheel can be adjusted to spin in whatever manner. this is the question though....IS the nsx going to have a 4 drive motor system that works this way? honda could of just tossed this whole idea out the door. Rimac might have a patent on it...

As a Toyota (Supra) fan all my life I remember when the original NSX came out. It was absolutely beautiful. Although I'm a Lexus fan now I'll always have respect for Acura..When they put their minds to it they get things done.. Welcome back Acura.

I have no doubt that the car is going to be fast as hell, and that it looks really really good. But after 3 years in the making... not a single prototype was available for shooting this? Did Acura really needed to go all Forza Motorsports and use low budget CGI? I was getting really excited, but the video showed no real car at all. Kind of a bummer.

I'd consider this to be the only "luxury sport car". The person who buys this will not really care about how fast or how quick it is, he/she will be more interested in the amenities and the absolute beauty and craftsmanship of the overall package. A Porsche 911 looks like a Volkswagen compared to the interior quality of this car...

I love how looking through the comments everyone is saying they're blown away, when probably 99% of them can't afford the car. Let me tell you, I could buy this, and despite loving how it looks on the outside, the interior, the performance, and the price make this a no for me. This is Honda thinking they can make an exotic sports car, and sell it for the premium price of one. For the same 200k that an optioned out version of this will probably cost, I could roll a more prestigious Ferrari California, Porsche 911 Turbo S, Audi R8, Lamborghini Gallardo, maybe stretch the dollar a bit more on a Huracan, a McLaren 650S, Mercedes CL63 AMG, or something in the 180 to 250k range that has an established history and recognition about it. I'd also have plenty of unbiased performance benchmarks to compare to, and myriads of reviews to help my decision. Even with a 100k GT-R, there's packages out there to get it up to over 1200 hp, and it still won't cost the entry price of the NSX. In conclusion, unless this car ends up punching out things higher than it's price range, only people that have nothing better to spend their money on will buy this car, because the price doesn't match the prestige and the performance. I'll wait for the 2018 GT-R.

If people are stuck in the past, there can be no advancements. Honda is bringing the technology of a hyper car to an affordable price. People don't like it because it's a complicated car that they don't understand. The NSX has the SH-AWD and the hybrid power train for a reason. This is a track focused car. NSX stands for New Sportscar eXpirimental, it does not have to be a successor to the original NSX. The NSX has always been defined by new technologies. Not HP, Not the numbers. The original NSX was not well received either, the popularity only began after the production dropped off.

Its supposed to cost more than an R8 which I dont get because if your lookin for a car around the 110 plus range it has to be an R8..GtR or Z06(even way cheaper) but yeah it still has an acura badge. Im not hating at all btw so plz nobody think that. It looks to be an amazing car and I'd get it ina heart beat if I could afford it lol Im just saying for less than 150 k I'm sure the R8 will still get way more sales I think they should lower the price a bit to make it seem more logical to buy money and "badge" wise.

I like Acura and I like NSX, but this video could have been much better. The NSX test drive is mostly computerized instead of a true driving experience. Would have been better to shown the real car driven instead of a computer generated video. It's like watching a video game, not really satisfying vs a real experience.
