You can integrate a Power/Water System into your paths. That's how I do it in my mid to late game colonies. You use Dynamite to carve your path network and connect it to a water source. Build shafts into the water and platforms to walk on. Now it's like a real Street. You just have to keep in mind how to divert the water to not get flooded.

I am hearing about this quite a lot, what is Daylight saving time??
@bethdoe46358 ай бұрын
@@timepass4783 some countries around the world change the time by an hour twice a year. So in Britain on the last Sunday of march, when the clock strikes 2am it springs forward and actually becomes 3am. So it goes 1:58am, 1:59 am then 3am. What this means is sunrise happens an hour later which in the olden days used to give farmers more daylight hours to get things done because as winter ends, sunrise gets earlier and earlier and you want to make the most of the sunlight. Then on the final Sunday in October at 2am it falls back so it goes 1:58am, 1:59 am 1:00am. So in winter Britain runs on GMT (Greenwich mean time) and in summer it runs on BST (British summer time) which is GMT+1. Not all countries do it, and different countries do it at slightly different times of the year.

The one trick that can be used. Power goes through most buildings, which does include tall buildings. That means you can move power up and down using things like houses that are more than one tile tall, without using gears. At least, you used to be able to. I don't know if that was changed recently, but the IronTeeth have Bunkhouses which are cheap and tall, which worked great for doing so.

@angelramirezgarcia82648 ай бұрын
With such a megaproject being built, I would suggest you to: First, either make it the lowest priority, or pause it, so it doesn't suck up the resources of the whole colony. Second, you might want to turn a big chunk of the farm land into forest to make more wood. Although I have a question... Since you have dinamite, and can open new ways for the water to flow, why did you redirect the badwater to the farmlands, instead of making a path at the other side of the mountain, where there is no colony of beavers?

Water wheels are so much better and cheaper if you constrict the water flow and spread them out. Chaining them directly in front of each other destroys their efficiency as the water can't get moving again before reaching the next one. Also counterintuitively, water wheels under a waterfall don't get a huge boost. Only horizontal movement is taken into consideration.
