one thing that helps me transition into studying is to use the pomodoro method to ease myself into it. i put on a study with me that has a timer and i begin planning, prepping, etc...that way i avoid feeling tired "before doing any work" and begin to procrastinate.

it really helps to not let yourself get behind or miss lectures...just speaking from experience as someone with a stem degree. it takes more discipline and self control to make sure you always keep up with everything, but then there's way less to do when it's time for exams. generally the only prep i did was making my equation sheets for the classes that allowed them.

I’m a few days away from my spring finals in my first year of engineering, and genuinely this is so motivating. This semester has been the most academically challenging that I have ever encountered (and I’m sure it will get worse lol). I totally agree that starting is the hardest part.
