@@RiptornRory It's unusual that English uses two letters to represent certain sounds. In some languages, a similar sound to our 'sh' is represented with š ("s with caron"). Another great example is thorn (þ), which the Scandinavian languages use for the exact same sound as our 'th'. But the crazy thing is, we actually use the 'th' pair itself for two different sounds! Scandinavians distinguish that other sound with eth (ð). Letters be crazy.

Cause the force doesn't go directly down into the road. It travels along the slope instead, then into the ground at the end of the bridge. So the bridge doesn't take the force the ground does instead
