Engineers were so good! Nice! 👍 They should have won! He is right about the formula when adding natural numbers: n*(n+1)/2. So 1+2+3= 3*(3+1)/2 or 3*4/2= 6. If 1+2+3+4 = 4*5/2= 10 So 1+2+...+50 = 50*51/2 then take the average by dividing by 50, so 50*51/2/50. The 50’s cancel, so 51/2= 25.5. The other question about signs were too much to keep track off. They lost on time before they got the marker to work on the board. The other last question, they almost had the right answer and then changed last minutes. Close one. Next time.
