Sir! From where did Spacing S3 value came or how is it calculated..? Kindly share the formula for S3... Secondly, why is S2 value the same for all the three entries because it depends on S1 and S1 is not the same in all the three entries..?

You may, use considering the strain values for concrete failure, like in aci we use 0.003 at failirr pf concrete

Why in ETABS it doesn't notify you that the required area of steel is more than the maximum allowable area of steel, thus you increase the section.....anyone has an answer? Is there a way to check that in ETABS without manually calculating or using Excel sheets?

Hello,Why in your every tutorial you change property modifier of beam 1 to 0.001? Can you explain this?

Yes because i donot wish the beam to take torsional forces which would then be transferred to slabs as i made beams torsionally flexible bye making modifier as 0.001 . You can use 1 instead but then beam will take torsion

Excel is just for detailing and arranging bars and making job faster in larger projects
