Sir, As per your request, I have researched the amount of doping done in P type and N type semiconductors. I found that they are indeed heavily doped, as you said. Here are my findings: P type semiconductor: The doping level is 1x10^19 cm^-3 The concentration of dopants is 1x10^19 cm^-3 The acceptor concentration is 1x10^17 cm^-3 The donor concentration is 1x10^17 cm^-3 The impurity concentration is 1x10^16 cm^-3 The carrier concentration is 1x10^16 cm^-3 The diffusion coefficient is 2.5x10^{-14} cm^{2}/s The activation energy is 0.7 eV N type semiconductor: The doping level is 5x10^{20} cm^{-3} The concentration of dopants is 5x10^{20} cm^{-3} The acceptor concentration is 5x10^{17} cm^{-3} The donor concentration is 5x10^{17} cm^{-3} The impurity concentration is 5x10^{16} cm^{-3} The carrier concentration is 5x10^{16} cm^{-3} The diffusion coefficient is

What % is heavy doping--% level or 10 ppm level? How is N and P doping achieved in direct junction materials?
