England's first meeting with Nigeria is an entertaining friendly at Wembley in November 1994. The visitors impress with their skill but the match is decided in England's favour by a goal from David Platt, on a night when midfield colleague Dennis Wise gives arguably his best international performance and central defenders Neil Ruddock and Steve Howey make their debuts. Includes some post-match thoughts of pundits Alan Hansen and Jimmy Hill with Des Lynam. The result means England complete 1994 unbeaten (albeit after just six matches, all at home!).
