In fact several of the Nigerian players who won the final of the 1996 Olympic tournament were later exposed as cheats as they had participated in previous age restricted tournaments with a different date of birth, oooops!

Fifa said the game was fixed because Nigeria totally dominated Argentina who presented a team B then when the game was over at 4nil, the reff keeps adding time till Argentina got one back by a lame penalty. The reff was suspended, the match was recalled, Argentina was warned to bring their full team A along with Messi and Argentina won in Asia 3-1.
