It was wild how obvious it was that Slovakia were comfortable with just Kane up front. As soon as they had a second big striker up there to worry about we scored twice in 5 min … and then Southgate immediately took Kane off and went back to 1 striker and we got deeper and deeper again. Against average teams that will sit deep Southgate had to be more comfortable going 2 up top and giving those big defenders something to think about because otherwise there is no space for Kane or Bellingham or Foden or anyone to do anything. Toney should’ve come on AGES ago and it would never have gone to extra time. At least that’s my opinion, as that was ridiculous
