I was there. Great first half but France came out second half throwing the ball wide and running with it, which seemed to pay off. To beat England you need to go around them, not through them.

Very poor second half. Instead of putting the game to bed they allowed the frogs to come back into the game. That sort of defence needs sorting out.

It wasn't that bad. England were never in danger of throwing it away. France were still 17 points behind, with 5 minutes left. The final score really flattered the French. They were never in this game.

Amazing performance. Everything the men's team appears to lack, team spirit, discipline, clear thinking, discipline etc. Borthwick should swap places with this guy. Then we might have a chance at the WC. But then the women chance would be gone so hell, leave it alone. A man.

yawn. Womens rugby is played at a very very low level in most countries. Its totally amateur. The game is non existent in everywhere but about 5 countries. Very disingenuous to compare it to the level of competition at the mens game with a dozen countries have deep squads and intense competition.

Think you're getting a bit carried away by the excitement of winning the Slam. Sure, the girls deserve credit, but they still did their absolute best to show the entire world how to lose a game of rugby inside 40 minutes, despite scoring five tries and holding a near-unassailable 33-point lead. Had they not fallen just short of that unwanted achievement, it would, without a doubt, have been the prime candidate for that "amazing performance" that you glowingly speak of....but for all the wrong reasons. Let's be honest, the game against France was the only real test they faced in the Six Nations, but they still very nearly embarrassed themselves by fluffing their lines. On that basis, there's nothing the men can learn from the women.
