Have to say, I could mention England not turning up (and fucking Daly and FARRELL) but Scotland were just immense and made us look completely ordinary and toothless, it's probably the best I've seen them play in a long time. Feel like Wales are gonna be dreading having to go to Murrayfield now, but for me what's worse is I feel France in particular are gonna give us an absolute pasting now. Eddie really needs to pick the players who are actually playing games, not just going with his old boys club.

The breakdown is still an iffy area as much as he is aloud to charge the box kick and put his body on the line etc playing pillar I’m not sure if you’re able to just lean over as in my eyes any part of your body that’s over the offside line is offside, I think they really need to have a look at that especially when he charged and ran right over the breakdown illegally although I’m sure he actually got penalised for that one

Peter Phillips. As always when pressure is applied England find it so difficult to change attack. I always felt the lack of flair at times and risk taking is coached out . The core of the problem lies in Farrell and the coach. Too early to say how this will go however Jones is a poor leader and Farrell equally lacks the creativity and imagination required to win. New Captain and new Coach before it is too late!

In a haed-to-head, Scotland *are* better than England. Over the past four matches between them Scotland have won 2 and drawn one, with the only defeat being a nonsense match in a hurricane; Scotland lead 80-70 on points, 10-7 on tries and 12-8 on match points. Over the course of England's last four meetings with anyone, only New Zealand have a better record against them, but only one of those matches was a competitive fixture and New Zealand lost that one.

It is very difficult from just one match whether England have a deep rooted problem or this was just a one off. They were terrible across all facets of the game. All the stats have Scotland ahead, by a lot, tackles missed, penalties awarded, yards gained, etc. Scotland played the best 80 minutes of rugby by them in a long, long time. The next two matches, England vs Italy, and Scotland vs Wales, will give a better indicator as to whether this is a changing of the guard.
