Australia too, conceding 10 goals in 2 matches. They haven’t played in 14 months together, why on earth would their federation not organize games when other teams began playing since August, September 2020. Most of their squad is overseas. How can they fully prepare for the Olympics when there is only one Fifa window to play friendly nations before the Olympics. They better be on the phone with US Soccer to get an invite to the Tournament of Nations in June 10-16 in the US.

From the WC semi to this game , including both , they are 4-1-9. Awfull. 5 months down the line, Sarina arrives, and they become an unstoppable train. 38 games with 1 loss. Euros , Finalissima , ACC twice, WC Final.

LOL Lauren Hemp is tougher then Lebron james & most male suppose professional sports players. Lebron & the NBA cry over a cramp let alone a head butt or sight of blood. hemp just catches her blood as she waits for trainings to stop the bleeding then bandage her head & right back to playing unfazed. No other professional sports can do that except hockey. Even boxers & UFC fights cry over far less. LOL

It wasnt , then. They had reached the last 2 WC semi finals , but a poor Euros performance. Three changes of managers. And 5 losses in their previous 8 games. 5 months after this Sarina Weigman became manager. And they took off. Like a rocket :)
