@Ash-vm6vy3 жыл бұрын
@@FootballCentralFBC not looking good for us though with the way we are being run. The last time we even finished in the playoffs was 16/17. Then we lost on pens in the playoff final. We have to be the biggest bottlers in the Championship. We were in the top 6 back in April and then in the last few games we fell out and finished 7 points off the playoffs. At least Arsenal can spend money. But we did do some decent business considering the circumstances. The international break came at the right time for both of us, and we typically do better after the break. We only have 4 wins since March though. I was hopeful for this season, but with two of our star players out until January-April, and other injuries to key players, one senior striker, an extremely leaky defence, a goalkeeper that probably dips his gloves in better before games, a midfield duo that can't track runs, and an ageing Junior Hoilett out wide, I don't know what to think of this season, and some people have tipped us for relegation. We could honestly finish anywhere from 5th or 6th to the relegation zone.

Haha, in reality he's not much faster than any other footballer with a good burst of pace, since footballers only need to sprint about 50 to 60 metres max, and Bolt's afterburners don't even kick in until after the 60 metre mark. But when Bolt gets a hold of the ball, he's a brutal striker! Imagine if he trained as a footballer from a young age and turned pro??

@@ashleydavies8127 If the players literally can't play football what's the point? Why not go all out, have 22 muppets out there scoring own goals and falling over for 90 minutes. Or maybe, just maybe, have those people do something else for charity? The desperation to want to do things as poorly as possible, involving people with no ability to properly participate in the actual event, with the ready made excuse that it's just for charity is bizarre, it's always been for charity and up until recently it's always been an entertaining game. From having Stephen Mulhern running around the pitch in a costume to advertise a TV show, to Ian Stirling not knowing the difference between how to do play by play and colour commentary, to the fellas who literally couldn't run to a goalkeeper that didn't know how to play in goal this one was a farce. Yes, it's for charity, but you can make it profitable for charity and also not absolute shite, the two things aren't mutually exclusive. Some people will donate regardless but I'm sure some will feel the whole thing took the piss and won't watch, and therefore probably won't donate, in future years.

I didn't watch this when it was on but watching these highlights is pissing me off everytime your man, that scotch bloke with the annoying voice on commentary, says how you donate 10,20,30 or 40 quid? What about a fifth option, where we can donate a fiver? I guarantee more people would be inclined to donate a fiver and all those fivers would add up so much faster aswell! It annoys so much because it's for charity! We're all struggling, at least a good number of us have just enough money to pay our bills and when you're asking for so much it's greed and I'm sure I'm not the only person this rubs the wrong way?! If there was a 5 pound option more people are likely to donate and ultimately it would add up to much more! Who the hells idea was it to get so greedy with charity? There shouldn't even be a minimum, you should be able to donate whatever you can afford. The way you guys are doing this it just seems greedy and is absolutely unappealing to potential contributers where as if you give people the choice to donate whatever they could afford more people would donate, think about If everyone was to donate even 1 pound (and that was an option) with a population (in the UK) of around 65 million people we could raise so much more money for Unicef a very important charity too by the way and 1 that forever needs our help! From feeding and clothing those less fortunate than ourselves, we can't start out being greedy that's only going to put people off, it put me off right away. It feels like we're being dictated to and this is for a good cause. It's like a homeless person sitting with his or her sign saying, please help, please give me some money and please, no less a tenner! How many tenners do you think they'd get? They'd end up with more black eyes than tenners!
@FootballCentralFBC2 жыл бұрын
Hi John, I actually think this problem is because of the banks(whoever you bank with) transfer fees, so £10 would be more beneficial because they'd be able to keep a majority of the money for the charity,, however a £1 transfer with the fees on transferring would pretty much take that £1 away, if the banks had no fees for transfers linked to charities specifically that would be very useful, I completely agree with you though, there shouldn't be a limit on how small we can give, giving us giving at the end of the day but problem is with the banks in my opinion.
