You felt the need to come onto their youtube page and comment ' ireland are gonna smash england' like the sad little boy you are. Does it really matter? Ireland are pish. Spent the last 2.5 years choking. Embarrasing.

it strikes me that these players are incredibly lucky to be in this setup. they are very privileged - i'm not having a dig, it's just kind of amazing how much goes into making them the best they can be. they are at the top of their sport obviously, so they 'deserve' the best treatment, but they're still extremely fortunate (compared to say, the samoan team). i'm sure this setup is lightyears ahead of other teams (even previous england teams) in how much energy is spent on keeping them in a good headspace, getting on well with each other, making sure they enjoy it - to say nothing of the sports science stuff, which i assume most/all of the leading teams have access to.

I think you can over analyse things sometimes , not with the fitness side but with the game itself , it can box you in a bit. I think this England team are over coached at times. When you are surprising not only the opposition but also your team mates during a game with your decision making I think it is a positive thing and a great weapon.

pretty much the same speed as usain bolt's 100m world record, except of course he averaged that for the whole 100m. these rugby players are lightning - obviously they don't train for 100m, so they are probably quicker than Bolt over 20-30m.

@@tommacmillan8831 Not quite; add about 10 more to that number. There were points (stride segments) in some of Usain's races where he hits 50kph. There is a BIG difference between elite world-class sprinters and world-class "field" athletes. To give you an idea of how fast track athletes can move, during the 400m world record race, the second 100m was run in 9.7 seconds or faster by the medalists.

It must be tough as a captain - Owen constantly having to tell his team mates that "this team could be something special" while picking up losses and especially loosing when it matters.
