JW is such a cool dude. Love that he seems so happy to be involved.

I have never loved an England rugby player more than I love Marcus Smith. He's exactly the kind of player I'm normally jealous that other countries get to enjoy

Finally getting strong enough. Cipriani was better but wasn't given a chance to play his game

@@mvubu6823I'm not sure better but Cips main issue was not working for it as he was so gifted.

I was fortunate enough to direct Jonny Wilkinson in a commercial for Société Générale a couple of years ago, and he is without a doubt, one of the nicest human beings I have ever met. His disposition to the crew, and the other "cast" members were nothing but beautiful and dare I say, spiritual. He exudes something so pure - so in touch with reality. The is no ego. I will forever remember that time with him - what an impressive person.

Not many Englishmen left like Jonny. What an absolute legend of not just rugby but English sport generally.

Imagine that whatever it is you do, you get to speak to the Jonny Wilkinson of that thing and pick their brains. Incredible. I hope they have equivalent for all the other positions

How good was JW as a player - amazing. And that just shows how good DC must have been to be even better.

The fact that Jonny is cap No 1194, is mind blowing to me. He was one of the first rugby players i'd ever heard of growing up in the 90s, but there were 1193 other England players before him.

JW. A great player, man and Englishman. 🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴

This was actually beautiful. Inspiring to see such comradery amongst the fly-halves, including JW. I hope this spirit is able to translate fully onto the pitch soon, as we have the players to be amongst the best teams in the world.

narrow defeats are frustrating and not as bad as a thrashing in equal measure! we are very close as steve says but close is not good enough! in my humble opinion as an armchair director of rugby, head coach, and the worlds best armchair no.8 in the world we need a new captain someone with a little arrogance and bossyness about him! iam of course bias but why not marcus and sorry jamie but as a fan i dont like seeing a 50 min captain/hooker we need a johnson hartley or god forbid farrell style of captain! now i fully expect to find out why i am either wrong or be questioned whether i have ever watched or played (i have and coached up to colt level) in the comments but just to let you know i am a fully qualified armchair captain too so i am practically ready to take over the next selection meeting

As a small child I followed and watched England rugby. I have followed England passionately through my life and I watched the 2003 world cup victory with my 2 year old and my just born fast asleep whilst in the pub, so they've both sort of witnessed an English world cup victory. However, I feel we are making the wrong personnel choices and we are packing backbone and teeth to win any tournament nevermind the world cup. We have great characters and wonderful people on the field and as coaching staff, however, we don't have the grit to win. I'm getting too bloody old to watch great talents get preoccupied by off field social media antics and money making distractions to take away the opportunity of winning opportunities and to grow an incredible sport

England need a new coach and Marcus must be pissed that the other Smith is around.

Jamie George is in the squad because he can give a cliche team talk and agree with Steve in a press conference. Bum
