Thank you, Chris. You are all the rage on social networks. That's great. I am into your lessons very much. You are a bright spark and do not miss a trick. Thank you very much for your prompt, but coherent and spellbinding material. You provide it easy, introducing to us beautiful and basic knowledge of grammar rules along with words for everyday life. I use your materials at the lessons sometimes and it makes my explanations easy, on the top of that, they are more comprehensible to others. I can't thank you enough. I like all your topics, especially phrasal verbs. Thank you very much. Thanks to you, I am not throwing in a towel and I am buzzing to be in the know of something new in English, as English, like many other languages, continues to evolve and it doesn't halt on one place. I am glad that you are aways here and give a shot to everyone at learning English. Thanks to you, Grammar turns out easy peasy and I waxed nostalgic about my student years where I didn't just learn, some of the copulas, mapped here. But now I can give it a go! I can't even express to you how I am grateful. 😀 So, take care! Thank you for new copula verbs. Hang on there. You do everything right. Keep on going! 😊 That's great to meet you. You are a trustworthy friend. I can't thank you enough for your patience, as it is not an easy thing to opt and single out really essential issues. You are a trouper. Keep it that way. Break a leg. 😀 👍 👍👍 You are stunning and a role model for all of us, Chris, with the heart of gold and industrious hands. That's really important. Stay where you are and be yourself. I believe, everything will come true! 😊 Carpe Diem. 😉👍

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think it's always the case that an adjective after a verb necessarily means that the verb is copula. Or rather, an adjective after a verb can have adverbial meaning, right? For example: He arrived exhausted from his journey. In this sentence the participle clause 'exhausted from his journey' has adverbial meaning, doesn't it? Or does the simple fact that we're using an adjective here transform the verb 'arrive' into a copula verb?

Hello, thanks in advance for the explanation, but I have a question I have seen a sentence written "The composition sounds suspiciously like a reworking of one of their earlier pieces". Why suspiciously and not suspicious since " sound " is a liking verb. Could you help me, please?😭

Frankly Speaking. I have never seen your KZbin channel before, but lately, i started seeing you everywhere. Actually, I come across your popular video about your famous seminar. As a result i hated you and became angry and nervous each time this repetitive add in most videos I watched .( What a disaster? Is there anyone else or just you in this planet?) That was my feedback or instant reaction. After one month I was watching an English course and suddenly i read that title about linking verbs. I thought you were wrong and u meant linking words which I really needed. because i've never heard about this new term. (Ok. Let's take a look I won't regret. Just a few seconds) that's what I said . I was completely shocked with the quality of your lesson. And quite impressed with your fascinating and rapid way of teaching and transmitting info to all your fans and learners. In a nutshell. I was and am STILL sorry about judging and missjudging you all this month whenever your promotional video showed up to me. And then glad to discover a precious treasure . Thank you very very much for everything. And So Sorry again about my prejudices. A new convinced subscriber from Morocco.

A linking verb can have subjective complement which is either an adjective, a noun or a pronoun. But in the following sentences the linking verb follows a prepositional phrase. Please explain. (becasue as you said, adverbial is forbidden) so what is this prepositional phrase as a whole? 1. The box is in the attic. 2. He is in the class room.

"The bread came out delicious" это как "хлеб вышел вкусный"? В некоторых случаях "вышло" используется в значении "получилось". Но "came out deliciously" это "вышел вкусно" (вкусной походкой) 😁
