Gotta love this version. This song means a lot to me because I've been an Evangelion fan since I was a teenager and 3.0+1.0 actually helped me through a bad moment in life. Sometimes, one just have to be live Shinji, daring to go further in life even if nothing is certain.

@@David315842 There's an interesting connection between Evangelion and Bye Bye Jupiter (1984) as well. Bye Bye Jupiter was directed by Koji Hashimoto, who also directed The Return of Godzilla (1984) that same year. And the Assistant Special Effects Director for The Return of Godzilla, serving under Teruyoshi Nakano, was Shinji Higuchi, long-time partner of Hideaki Anno for Evangelion.

That's shame, I don't know how to synchronize things in DAWs. Not that it matters, it's not a big deal, since they're quieter than the main voice, it sounds more like a texture. I'm a musician with some weird tastes, once I was writing the setting for a Mass and used parallel major chords. I just think it makes it a little, just a little, easier to detect it's not a human singing

Forgot to say that that despite that, I still listen to this on repeat. I'm adapting this to Portuguese, but not to be recorded, I'm going to sing with a few people from the Music department or the local University in the Oncology Department of the university hospital. Of course I'm tweaking the lyrics a bit to become happier than the original, but I'm trying to capture the same essence... But I won't be only the lyricist. That would be boring, I'll make the arrangement, and those parallel fifths are inspiring me to do something a bit dreamy sounding

@@vojtechjilovec Hey there, thanks for the comment. Please don't say stuff like this to vocal synth creators in the future. SynthV is not generative AI or RVC sampled from people without permission. It's a piece of commercial software in the same vein as Vocaloid, which uses AI instead of more traditional sample based synthesis to synthesize the human voice realistically. All people involved in the creation of voices for the software are paid for their time and aware of what it is, and many of them are also fans of the characters these voices are identified by, such as Emma Rowley herself (SOLARIA, who I used in this cover's voice actress). If you have any questions I suggest reading up on both pieces of software, there are many informative videos about the history of Vocaloid as a software, art form and community on KZbin as well. I understand that it's complicated but it doesn't really excuse unkind comments like this one. Have a nice day.
