Hi and thanks for the comment. You can structure a sentence in this way but it would be more common to leave the 'His' out.

Dear Prof, I was wondering if I might dare to ask you a question? Let me expalin presently: Say, Having seen it was raining, Pete decided to stay home = He had seen it was raining , so Pete decided to say home. Is That correct? And what about Perfect Gerund at the beginning of the sentence as do you with perfect Participle ? How can one figure it out when one uses Perfect gerund or Perfect Participle? Please accept my deepest apologises for disturbing you. I pay my respects to you. Thank you kindly.

Thanks for your help. Your videos have helped me a lot. Please I need help to understand a bit better participles. For example, 1.- Having cleaned my car, I went to the party. 2.- Having the car clean, I can go to the party. The first one, is a perfect participle and the second one is not, right? Their meaning is totally different, right? Here's another question, 1.- Being patient, she got to the place. 2.- Her being patient helped her got the place. I think that the first one is an active participle, and the second one does not. Is it right? I would like to know how to use "our, their, your, my" + ING Thanks for your help.
