What impressed me the most about Duran was in the second half, Rogers was out of position and Duran covered the left mid spot when defending, was wonderful to see the maturity in his performance, defence came first, which I never thought I would see in him

Duran has a touch of Dalian Atkinson about him. Whenever he gets the ball, it feels like something happening. Both are/were great in big games. I feel Rogers plays better with Duran and they seem to get on well too.

Merry Christmas Pete, a great uplifting show! It was a throughly enjoyable game and a superb team performance. The only thing that marred it for me was the booing of Jack from a section of our fans, which I have to say I agree with Michael Owen about. He was our captain and one of the finest players we have had in the Premier League era, and the 100M that came in for his transfer helped our revival almost as much as Jack himself did when he was our best player. A standing ovation as he ran on to the pitch would have been a far more classy response to his first start at Villa Park since leaving, and would have reflected far better on our fans than the moronic and disrespectful booing every time he touched the ball.

I felt like they allowed grealish the space knowing all the middle was blocked off essentially, they gave grealish the space so the ball would go out to him wear as you said they knew cash could deal with him. City looked much more of a threat when savinho came on and ran at the defense instead of in front of them if that makes sense. Cash had to shoot there really imo we have been crying out for the last few months for someone to be brave and confident enough to break that line and have a go at something. We need to encourage cash to do that more it's why we signed him as an attacking right back
