Yes, sandwich does often come out that way! But not sounds. Definitely no /m/ sound here...

You will hear this word both ways. Check it out- go to Youglish.com and type in this word, click on US and "say it." Listen to the first 10 examples. What do you notice?

No, here you have a vowel sound followed by /t/ and /s/- just 2 consonants. The result would sound like "was" and you don't want that...

@@ClearEnglishCorner yeah, am also doing well. I called you by your name coz there is also one other young lady from California and am her subscriber (She's also making English videos like you). And she told me not to call me Ma'am as Ma'am is very much formal term and KZbin is so informal. And she further said that Ma'am is used in the US for ladies having age more than 60. So keeping that tip in mind I called you by your name otherwise I have got a ton of respect for you in my heart. So, you tell me. I should call you by your name or by Ma'am...???

Oh my goodness! The "t" disappearing in words like "facts" and "attempts" just blew my mind! I would never notice that by myself lol! Thank you! "Acts" sounds a lot like "axe" btw...hehehe
