Really great material. Really natural and interesting to hear. And I try to read with you simultanously so that I practice. Give me the time to prepare so show me the subtitles BEFORE starting reading the sentance and dont hide the subtitles to show some movie. Alsho show next and previous sentences.

Hi Anna. It's been a real pleasure to listen to the English wording you used to express that very feeling I also experienced when as a teenager I would go to a theme park or even a fair. I mean this feeling of being tricked as if the aim of entertaining you was just to get as much money out of you as possible while distracting your brain basic alert system. Somehow you didn't pay only for being entertained, you also paid for being taught a valuable life lesson. Thanks for sharing it!🙂

Morning Anna. Take care of the weather. Don't go theme parks for a while. I don't know anybody with whom they have never had a beef with theme parks, even with the most famous in Tenerife " Loro park" (parrot park)

Merci beaucoup Anna ! You achieve to make things so simply captivating. Listening to you is such a pleasure. What a class, what an eloquence and clarity! And I learn so much with you! you are truly magnificent my lovely! Your video podcasts are still a plus because I love the sweetness of your visage and your beautiful expressivity in support of the discourse. To make a long story short: extremely pleasant to watch and listen to. ;-) I personally would appreciate expositions or parks with themes like History (medieval;-), Nature, Crafting etc ...but I would avoid like the plague these amusement parks with rides for I globally share all the beef you evoked (crowd, queues, extorsion etc..;-) Bisous, bisous 🙏😊🌹❤💞 P.s.: I confirm that it is 'LE boeuf'. For that one, the genre is easy to remember as un/le boeuf is the male of the cow (la vache) and therefore 'masculin' (though castrated) and as opposed to 'le taureau', the bull (non castrated). For Shia Labeouf, his surname is clearly of French origin (from Leboeuf) but was altered. Note 'La' instead of 'Le' which probably misled you and the inversion between the 'o' and the 'e'. It seems however that the 'Beouf' part in Labeouf is indeed pronounced like the French 'Boeuf'. /bœf/ with the /ə/ sound. In French, 'œ' voyel grapheme of latin (and greek) origin which was integrated in some modern alphabets including English, is what we call 'un e dans l'o' like in 'oeil' (eye), 'oeuf' (egg), 'oeuvre' (work/masterpiece), coeur, fœtus, œnologie, œsophage, cœlioscopie, etc ... - Note that traditionally œ is pronounced /e/ [é] in words of Greek origin: fœtus, œcuménique, œdème, œnologie, œsophage, Œdipe, phœnix (which is also spelled phénix)... But, surely influenced by the pronunciation of the noun 'œil,' usage has a growing tendency to say /ə/ [eu] when it encounters œ, a variant that is progressively taking its place in the dictionaries for these nouns of Greek origin. Therefore for 'foetus', for instance and in French, you could hear /fetys/ or /fətys/

At Thorpe Park, on the roller coaster "Smile", a girl lost one of her legs in an accident a few years ago... At Cedar Point, in Ohio, last year a woman got hit on her head with a flying wheel of a coaster ... I USED to love theme parks ... if you know what I mean ...
