This was a very emotional moment for not only both Arakawa and Ichiban, but also the players and viewers. It hurts even more now that it's been translated and especially considering what happens later on. I really wished Arakawa had a little more screen time, honestly. He was the figure Ichiban really needed. Thank you again for the translation!

Seriously ichi has a ridiculous sense of loyalty to both his friends and arakawa, the man is a shonen protagonist made into a yakuza character
@StephenArpad5 жыл бұрын
Isn't obvious pal? 😒 Arakawa for Ichi, wasn't only his Boss & hero, but also considered as the father he never had Did you forget how Arakawa cut his finger in order to save his life? Come On! Why a Yakuza Oyabun & Patriarch as well, had to do such thing for a brat he never knew even once in his life? Or are gonna tell me that assholes like Kuze, Awano and backstabbing motherfuckers as Shibuzawa, Shimano, Takashima, Jingu, Sengoku, Tsuneo, Katsuragi or even Sohei Dojima itself would even get a fuck for an unknown orphan & homeless guy in his teens? 🤨 Even Ryuji Goda, showed at least, in his final moments honor, pride and also, sensibility for Sayama's feelings after finding out she was her sister. Or what about Mine & Hamazaki? In the end they admitted they needed to depend and trust others if they wanted to live on before dying.. Those guys showed us they were still true human beings.. Even Someya, although a disgusting douchebag first, he gave his life for Kiyomi, the woman he always loved and for his daughter's sake when even being separated from Kiyomi, he never damaged her and never said bad things from Kiyomi.... This "douchebag" was a Real man, in all its sense.. You just take Hirose's example too; he showed us how cold and cruel he was while doing his job; But for each man he killed, he took each son as his... That even Naguma, Matsunaga & Tagashira could forgive him and still, to see him just exactly Arakawa was for Ichi.. Honestly, this part of the Series was the one that shocked me so much Ichi, who ended being alone again after his adoptive father had passed away, and without anyone who took care of him, being a teen back then, it was more than obvious that Ichi would find himself into deep shit, sooner or later.. 😐 After knowing Arakawa, Ichiban devoted his life for the one who saved his life and even gave him a new reason to live.. I hope that helps you to understand Ichi's feelings pal.. 😑

Asaki Fujiwara藤原 朝木 true but seriously all Ichiban is missing is being a japanese high school age and he’s fit right into that typical shonen protagonist who surprisingly has allot of depth to him. The other protagonist did have shonen qualities to them but you get the feeling of them being “Adults” IE didn’t keep the child like wonder they had or at least not show it openly, whereas ichiban seemed like he never grew up but just adapted enough to not change but enough to keep up with the the world he lives in Only exception would be majima but he was similar to kiryu until the end of yakuza zero where rather then child like wonder he more or less just stopped giving a crap and decided he’d rather be crazy 24/7 rather then keep holding himself back

@@bushidotestu1997 Of course.. Ichiban is a man who could not enjoy his youth... No parents, no home, no friends.. The only ones were the Shangri-La hostesses, the manager himself, who was the first paternal image Ichi had. All the People and homeless in Kamurocho.. Although Masato suffered too much, not being able of making friends due to his impairment and his status of being a son of a Yakuza.. He got embittered and kept doing all the things we've learnt so far.. Whereas Ichi, never looked back and always has been comitted to forget & forgive.. So, what should we care for his childish behaviour or his hobbies for RPG games? Icchan is the most mature guy of this game.. Of course, after Kiryu-San... 😉

@@bushidotestu1997 umm... Not every character needs to be a High School grader to be the "Typical" Shonen Protagonist. It's true nowadays Shonen MC tends to be more younger, but they were fair examples where Shonen series has adult characters as their "typical" Shonen protagonist.

Thanks for the translations dude.. However, could you please upload the scene where Ogasawara confess Masato's 3K plan while still being captured by Ichi and friends? This part is highly crucial in this story plot.. Mainly, because this is the first time where the cop who was Masato's girlfriend's lover was involved in the 3K Plan.. And speaking of this guy, when you had uploaded this character's introduction, he had showed a presention card to Ichi & Masato, which you missed to translate... Horinouchi was his name, If I can recall.. But what is clear to me, is that this motherfucker is so despicable as Seijiro Munakata from RGG 4, the same piece of shit who gave him a hard time to Kiryu and friends, mainly to Tanimura.. I miss Tanimura and Shinada from RGG 5, those guys are so cool. BTW, does anybody what happened to Akiyama? I mean, why he wasn't included this time, even Date make a slightly cameo here.. The same for The Florist.. That guy as Akiyama, was of the kind who cannot be deprecated so easily.. Don't you agree? Well, time will reply.. Thanks dude!
@Returner185 жыл бұрын
That's the most puzzling thing about the returning characters for me. Where the fuck was Akiyama at?! I totally get Haruka, Yuta and Haruto not showing here [for plot reasons], or anyone from Judge Eyes/Judgment [separate IP, same universe and not counting Shin Amon] for that matter, but Akiyama had more than one opportunity to show up and it didn't happen. Talk about a missed opportunity for it on RGG Studio's part.

Man I agree about sad but "dumbest and worst" just makes your otherwise understandable sentiment look bad... Simply accepting Ichi back as his subordinate after all he put Ichi through would weigh even more on his conscience and that's his main point here when he tried to avoid answering him straight. On one hand yes, answering yes would make Ichi happy but to him it only makes him feel like taking advantage of Ichi even further with no repercussions or responsibility. Not to mention at this point Ichi is probably just as much of a real son to him as Masato is. What kind of father could do that to his own son?
@nikki54994 жыл бұрын
i don’t think it’s dumb. By this point Arakawa alrdy knew that Ichi is his real son. How can he ever see Ichi the same way as he see him before? Imagine being a father and realising the man in front of you that you put through hell is your son. Moreover that man don’t even know your are his father. All those mistake you made and your son is still willing to follow you. All Ichi see is him finally be seen and approve by his boss. All Arakawa see is putting through his son through another hell again. Fuck Masato and Sawashiro.
