Thank you! This is awesome! Ken was being perverted as usual. " 6 and 9, its really difficult the other way around". Haha! I cracked up at Hyde being a "ghost" in a haunted house. It was interesting to hear Hyde speak of wanting to visit Europe. The bit about Michael Jackson was a bit odd, but I love how Sakura twisted it into talking about Michael Schenker! The bit about Hawaii was interesting too.... And about the "special guest" band....were they referring to themselves there? Was it D'Arc~en~Ciel? I was a bit confused.... I appreciate you subbing and uploading this! I am looking forward to the next one!!

I am not sure about everything on the clip because, as the translator said, it's riddled with inside jokes and stuff that only someone from that time could understand. Specifically a fan who went to their concerts. But I believe that it was L'Arc that was posing as a DEAD END cover band. Not sure if they already used the term "D'Ark~en~Ciel" at this time, but it's very possible. ^_^

larc jounetsu Ah, that would make sense that L'Arc were the cover band. Thanks for replying so fast!
Oh...and what do you think Hyde's comment about " Heidi" meant? I know that the band calls him " hydee" sometimes...Perhaps he is referring to himself....wanting to spend time "with himself" in Europe? Also...the "carpet bombing" was an interesting comment......

Heidi is famous in Japan. I suppose even more around this time. And Heidi comes from Switzerland, which is in Europe ^_^ That's my take on it. I don't think I ever heard of the band calling Hyde Heidi? Maybe it could sound like Heidi sometimes.

larc jounetsu Yeah, I wasn't sure how to take that "Heidi" comment....but your explanation sounds correct. Hyde mentioned recently (on his twitter I think) that one of his nicknames in L'Arc is "hydee" which I am assuming is pronounced like "Heidi". ( I could be wrong).Your idea makes more sense though. Thanks!

I remember that Sakura used to call him Heidi and Hide, and sometimes even refused to call him Hyde, because he thought that the media was turning Hyde into a commercial product and he hated it. He even said a few years later that he felt bad because he sabotaged interviews and things like that to try and get Hyde and the whole band away from the spotlight because he hated the idea of turning into a commercial band.
