Hello, Thank you very much for all your videos and especially for your patience and your way to speak and to explain. It's really interesting. A very clever way to learn this beautifull and so important idiom. Well done! A question: In this video, at 6:40, you talk about "Duvet cover" and at 11:30, you talk about "Duvet case". Can we use both words? Olivier

Hey Andrew :) Thank you so much for the Reply. I got confused because in one of your Sessions of "AT","IN" and "ON",You said that we can use "AT" if we talk about a specific point or place. For example : at the Top of the stairs, at the Bottom of the Stairs. So, That is why i thought we could say "AT the middle of the room". :) Anyway,You are a Great great Teacher. I've learnt a lot from you. Thank you so much Andrew :) God bless

Hello Andrew; I have a question about "make out" in this video as you said "The table is made out of wood". I checked dictionary but I could not find an appropriate definition of it. Would you please consider it and then let me know? Cheers Pedram
@CrownAcademyEnglish9 жыл бұрын
Pedram Samieyan The expression is "made out of something" or "made from something" Examples: The car is *made out of* metal. The car is *made from* metal. Andrew

Dear Andrew, Greetings. In "English words in the bedroom | English vocabulary" at 19:40 you've said: And finally, we have a lamp. In fact, there are two lamps - one on both sides of the dressing table" Don't you think it should be "one on EACH side of the dressing table" instead of "one on BOTH sides of the dressing table" ? Regards.
@CrownAcademyEnglish10 жыл бұрын
Abdulmunim Al-Duri Hello and thank you for your comment. "one on EACH side of the dressing table" and "one on BOTH sides of the dressing table" are both perfectly correct. They are two different ways of saying exactly the same thing. A third way of saying it is ""one on EITHER side of the dressing table". I hope that helps, Best regards Andrew
