Thank you so much Anna! Instead of 'take' I simply replied 'have a trip/walk/stroll etc.' Is that correct? ... I said 'get up' instead of 'wake up' which was another possible answer. Bisous 😘🌹💕

If there is a football match between two famous teams in the future , what is the correct tense to use ? Is it the present simple tense or the present continuous tense ?

And remember that "the" is used before all the musical instruments. Therefore, one has to say I play THE piano / THE violin / THE guitar in order for it to be grammatically correct!

Why your language became an international language. I like English so much especially with British accent. but I want to know how your predecessors could do that?!
@fabrice9252

Hi Jalil! There are probably many reasons for that. The first would probably be due to History and to the power of the British colonial empire that once 'ruled the world'. That was obviously made possible by its long maritime domination.The British colonists were particularly successful in establishing themselves (and therefore their language) in the new world (North America) despite competition from Spain and France in particular. The colonial administration on the spot went so far as to take their independence from the British crown in 1776 to become the United States. Similarly, Australia and New Zealand have their origins in the expansion and colonialism of the British crown. Then, in addition to being worldwide spread, there are probably more linguistic reasons properly speaking with a language that I would describe as 'easy' including the relative simplicity of its grammar with regard to many others still that this is still quite subjective... To this should be added evolutionary reasons, English itself having been built from the assimilation of many other languages (those of the historical many invaders of Great Britain) and many foreign contributions that English, living and evolutionary language par excellence, integrates rather well. In a more contemporary perspective, the major influence and success of both the British but espacially American culture also played a great role in establishing English as the international language (music, cinema etc.) I hope that answers your question. Greetings:-)
